Albion Conan Atlantean Sword Review by Luis Timmerman

The Atlantean Sword as shown in the movie Conan the Barbarian is considered to be one of the most iconic fictional and movie swords ever to have been designed. In fact, it was the forging of this sword with which the movie starts. Just like the movie, the sword has something of a cult following. The Conan Atlantean Sword is a functional replica of this famous sword from Albion.

The most impressive feature of this replica is how well it matches the original sword used in the movie. In fact, care has been taken to ensure that there are no differences whatsoever. This has been achieved by using the same molds and techniques that were used for the original for creating this replica. As a result, it is the perfect replica. At the same time, this is a fully licensed and official product from Albion.

High carbon steel has been used for forging this blade that ensures that it is extremely durable. It has also been heat treated to increase toughness. The sword features a beautiful satin finish. The runes placed on the blade are clear and deep. The construction is certainly solid as the fittings are tight and have no gaps whatsoever.

Two of the most attractive features of this sword are the pommel and the guard. These parts have been created from bronze with the help of the lost wax casting method. The results are fantastic.

The price is the only problem. 3000 bucks is bit much but you get an unique and rare piece of steel.
