The Kit Rae series of blades and weapons from United Cutlery are known for their unique approach to crafting collectible swords. Kit Rae has its own collection of mythical weapons named Swords of the Ancients. If you haven’t heard of it, you are probably not a serious enthusiast of fictional and mythical blades.
Mithrokil sword features
Mithrokil is one of the swords in the Swords of the Ancients series from Kit Rae. According to the mythology developed around this collection, the Mithrokil is the weapon used by Kethol Av Torketal, the famed ancient Mithrodin warrior.
Mithrokil can be classified as a short sword and it is a beautiful one at that. It features a full tang which adds to the realistic nature of the sword. This short sword has been crafted form a single piece of 3Cr13 stainless steel allowing it to look more beautiful as the grip and the blade flow into each other in a seamless manner. The blade has been adorned with a vine design that has been silk screened. The length of the blade is 15.5inches and the overall length of the weapon is 25-1/8 inches.

The grip adds to the feel of the weapon as it has been wrapped with imitation rayskin. The rayskin has been further improved upon by wrapping strips of brown leather which is completely genuine. Just like the blade, the grip has also been decorated with the vine design. A satin steel finish completes the look of the sword.
Each Mithrokil will come with a scabbard which has been made out of a combination of imitation and genuine leather. The emblem of Kit Rae has also been placed on the sword. A certificate of authenticity has also been provided. I like its curved shaúe and the decorated blade.
The Mithrokil can prove to be a good choice if you are just starting your fantasy collection. However, serious enthusiasts might not enjoy the overall quality of the blade.
