Samurai 3000 Sword review by Marcus T.

The Samurai 3000 sword is one of the three blade sets that is well constructed and has a decent edge. A United Cutlery production, the sword is high technology weaponry with the primary arm being that of a plasmium sword.

This weaponry is constructed by the highly disciplined sword masters who apply extremely secretive forms of physics. The hand guard of the sword comes featured with the Samurai code of service, justice and honor that is engraved in a secretive language. The handle is precisely made of machine parts and the blade of the sword is fully functional with two versions – silver and black.

The length of the sword is 38 1/16″ inches and weighs about 5.7 pounds.
The handle of the sword is made of steel that makes it feel quite substantial when held by the hand. The weapon is a lightsaber inspiration and is made up of plasmium energy generating components that also tend to coat the blade during the time of action. The weight of the handle is just as heavy as the blade of the sword that helps to provide a nice neutral counterbalance.
The tsuba of the sword looks almost like bat wings but the interface between the sword and the scabbard has a unique design along with a push button for unlocking the weapon.
The sword’s blade is made up of stainless steel and is designed in typical fantasy style.
The blade collar or the habaki consists of a nicely crescent moon design and a secret Kanji that flows down into a typical cutout design.
Some of the other specifications include – a well-built scabbard, highly futuristic designed details, and bio-electrical connectivity.

Speaking of cons, some of the design components might seem to be a little bit tacky. Thought the sword may belong to the ‘future weaponry’ genre, it is purely ornamental and is great only for the purpose of display.
